Update Two: CRN Contract Transfer from John Holland to UGL

Since our last bulletin on March 24, RTBU Officials and Delegates have attended several roadshows and conducted site meetings with members affected by the CRN transfer from John Holland to UGL.

RTBU Officials have also met with management representatives from John Holland and UGL to find answers to the questions members have about the transfer and how it might impact them.

Unfortunately, there are more questions than answers with the steering committee from John Holland and UGL yet to release the final terms regarding the contract transfer.

RTBU Officials have taken a series of steps to attempt to answer these questions, including:

• We have written to Transport for NSW seeking a meeting to get a clear update on the progress of the contract transfer.
• Have established regular meetings with John Holland and UGL to keep updated on any developments.
• RTBU Officials have proposed a combined roadshow and joint meetings between John Holland, UGL, and the RTBU.
• John Holland and UGL have committed to prioritising meetings at site where the impact on members will be the most significant.
