Unions challenge penalty rates decision in Federal Court

The first round of cuts to Sunday penalty rates came into effect on July 1.

While Labor is promising to overturn the Fair Work Commission’s decision if it wins the next election, the union movement has taken more immediate action.

United Voice, backed by the Australian Council of Trade Unions is challenging the decision in the Federal Court.
