Union Dues Increase

All RTBU members are advised that union dues will increase as of the first pay from 1 July 2025. This decision was made at the last Branch Council meeting held on 23 May 2025.

The new rates that will be in effect as from the first pay period after 1 July 2025.

All RTBU members are advised that union dues will increase as of the first pay from 1 July 2025. This decision was made at the last Branch Council meeting held on 23 May 2025.

The new rates that will be in effect as from the first pay period after 1 July 2025.

RAIL – FULL TIME:	$ 26.37 per fortnight
RAIL – PART-TIME/CASUAL/APPRENTICE:	$ 18.44 per fortnight
LOCO – FULL TIME:	$ 30.83 per fortnight
LOCO – CASUAL:	$ 18.44 per fortnight
BUS – FULL TIME:	$ 22.69 per fortnight
BUS – PART-TIME	$ 20.01 per fortnight
BUS – CASUAL:	$ 18.15 per fortnight
BUS – CASUAL CLEANERS:	$ 16.76 per fortnight

If you are paying by payroll deductions or direct debit you do not have to do anything as we will advise your payroll office or financial institution.
