Time to Fight – Vote Now!
Bulletin 19 – 2017
To: RTBU ARTC infrastructure Maintenance Members;
On Wednesday, 31st May 2017 your bargaining committee met with ARTC to discuss their responses to our position on their proposed document.
ARTC management’s response was to cease negotiations with your bargaining committee and to test the waters by putting their proposed Enterprise Agreement out to a vote.
As indicated throughout our depot tour in April 2017, it was made extremely clear what would be the lowest offer you would be willing to accept on your wages.
And it was NOT 2% WITH NO BACKPAY.
ARTC management refuse to budge on things such as but not limited to;
- Acting in a higher grade as they continue to expect you to perform work above your pay level without compensation;
- No back pay;
- 2% to wages;
- No improvements to Domestic Violence Leave;
- And much more.
It is now time to show ARTC how strong their Infrastructure Maintenance employees are in NSW, it is time now to show ARTC management your resolve and your willingness to fight, and it is now time to stand up and VOTE NO on management’s sub-standard Enterprise Agreement.
In VOTING NO you will force ARTC management back to the negotiation table with your bargaining representatives, which will show them that the entire workforce is standing as one and is willing to fight for a fair and decent pay rise!
ARTC management will begin their depot briefings at all ARTC depots from Monday, 5th June 2017.
We urge all ARTC Infrastructure Maintenance NSW employees to make their voices heard, stand as one and show ARTC that their offer is unacceptable.
Once again your bargaining committee urges you to VOTE NO and to continue the fight for a fair and decent Enterprise Agreement.
