Sydney Trains Introduce New Uniform Items
Bulletin 43 –
To: RTBU Station Staff Members,
Congratulations to Station Staff on the result of Sydney Trains introduction of additional uniform items. This is a credit to all the station staff who took the time to complete and return uniform surveys and giving ongoing feedback to Sydney Trains management.
As a result of all your hard work Sydney Trains announced on the 4th August that the additional items of uniform will be available. These are:
- A grey button up shirt for male CSAs in addition to the existing polo shirt (the female CSAs uniform remains unchanged with a collared blouse, boat neck top and polo shirt available)
- A spray jacket ( male and female)
- A short overcoat (male and female)
- Heavy weight (winter) long pants (male and female) – there is no change to the policy on long pants; long pants are the approved uniform for all customer service staff.
Some of the questions and answers about this process are:
Who can order these uniform items?
The additional uniform items are for staff at stations only – SDMs, CSAs, CICs and cleaners
When will these items be available?
These items are available for ordering from next week.
If I’ve recently ordered new grey polo’s can I change my order to the new grey button-up shirts?
If you speak to your Customer Logistics Officer within 14 days they will arrange an exchange of the items.
Station Staff that may any questions about the new uniform items should contact their manager.
