Sydney Trains Depot Tour has Begun
Bulletin 32 – 2016
To: RTBU Infrastructure Members,
The RTBU Infrastructure Division began their Sydney Trains depot tour in August 2016. Currently we have been able to visit Hamilton, Gosford, Hornsby, Glenfield and Sydenham Maintenance Network Bases.
Visits to CBD, Clyde, Sutherland, Wollongong, Blacktown and Lawson Maintenance Network Bases will be starting from October as RTBU Relief Organiser Jonathan Parker, has returned to his position as Signal Mechanical at Clyde until the beginning of October 2016.
Our visits so far have been extremely positive and we would like to thank all members who have attended and given us the opportunity to introduce ourselves.
Visits to all Sydney Trains Major Works locations are also a matter of priority to us. Once the visits to all Sydney Trains Maintenance Network Bases has been finalised we will be scheduling times to visit these locations.
The RTBU Infrastructure Division plans to conduct visits on a regular basis to meet the members we have missed in our initial visits, and to build on the relationships we have made.
Times, dates and locations will be provided to your local RTBU Delegate and management in arranging these future visits.
