Sydney Train guard speaks after fatality on South Coast line

Your union is here to ensure the drivers, the guards, and any other workers involved in any incident on our tracks can be provided with the support they need.

In a fatality situation it is important that the train driver has a guard on the train to provide communication and support to the travelling public, and to the driver until emergency services arrive.
