To: All Sydney Trains and NSW Trains Members –

Tickets for this year’s Picnic Day to be held on Friday 9^th December from 09:00 to 15:00 at “Como Pleasure Ground” – Como, are now on sale.

The Picnic Day will be operated and organised by the Welfare Fund and has amalgamated both the Salaried Officers’ and the Wages Operations employees’ picnics into a single event.

This amalgamation has been done to ensure the best possible and affordable Picnic Day Event.  It is essential that employees in the Salaried Officers and Wages Operations areas support the on-going viability and sustainability of Picnic Day by buying their Picnic Ticket for this event.

For the sum of $10.00, the purchase of a Picnic Ticket, whether you are able to attend the Picnic Day event or not, entitles you a “full” days’ pay.

It also allows you and/or your immediate family to have a FUN day out with sausage sizzles, face painting, ice creams, a petting zoo, rides for the kids, arts and crafts and other outdoor activities.

For those who may have difficulty with the short walk from Como Station to the Como Pleasure Grounds, a free shuttle bus will be running all day.
