Stop the Sell Off: Campaign to stop electricity privatisation in NSW

The NSW Liberals and Nationals have said that if they win the next election they will privatise the NSW electricity network – public assets like Ausgrid, Endeavour Energy, Essential Energy and TransGrid.

If these publicly owned electricity companies are privatised the people of NSW will be worse off with residents and businesses left paying higher electricity bills.

The money lost from selling our poles and wires is the equivalent of 21,000 nurses, teachers or fire fighters.

In response to this, the Electrical Trades Union NSW have just launched a statewide campaign to stop the sell off of our public electricity network.
