Station Staff Win on Workload Pressures

RTBU Members on the Blue Mountains Line have had an important win. Together, we told management that leaving 10 jobs on the line vacant and unadvertised was unacceptable because it meant constant workload pressures and long hours for existing staff.

After petitions, disputes and messages from RTBU members along the Line, management have finally listened.

These vacant positions will be now filled by an Eligibility List and through the Transfer Register.

Once the E-List and Transfer Register has been exhausted those vacant positions will be then externally advertised.

Congratulations to all the members involved! This win was only possible because we stuck together and showed management we were united.
