Reminder: industrial action suspended for six weeks

It has been brought to our attention that there are a large number of service cancellations and disruptions planned for tonight and into tomorrow.

Sydney and NSW Trains are attempting to blame the workforce for the issues, even using the announcement system to tell passengers that the disruptions are the result of industrial action.

All members are reminded that, previously advised, we have been legally ordered to suspend our protected industrial action for six weeks.

That means that ALL action is currently suspended, including the wearing of badges, the overtime ban and the stoppage. Please continue to work as you usually would.

That said, of course all employees are entitled to take their rostered time off as usual, and all EA, rostering and payment entitlements are enforceable and claimable.
