Penrith Workplace Election

Bulletin 24 – 2017

To: RTBU Members – Cleaners Penrith Yard,

I write to advise members that I have made the decision to rerun the Penrith election for Workplace Delegate.

It has recently been made clear to me that the way in which we run workplace elections across the Branch needs to be reviewed and after some deliberation we have decided to seek the advice from an external provider and Bob Hayden from our office has already met with a company that offers a variety of solutions but they have flagged that we will need to alter our rules as part of that work.

We will prioritise the workplace election at Penrith but bear with us as it may take some time to get everything in place.
