Visit the Penalty rate changes to cost $667m: report
A reduction in Sunday penalty rates means workers across country Australia risk losing more than $660 million each year, new modelling shows.
The McKell Institute also says the Fair Work Commission’s decision to align weekend penalty rates in retail, hospitality and pharmacy sectors could cost regional and rural communities a collective $290 million.
