Dear members,
This month’s industrial action calendar is now available on the EA campaign website. Click here to view and download the calendar to put up in your workplace.
Specific instructions for actions will be provided to members in advance of each action.
As a reminder, in most cases we must notify actions 7 clear days (10 actual days) in advance which is why actions must escalate over the course of the month.
During this round of action, we have included a choice for the government. They can give commuters free fares after providing a minimum of 24 hours’ notice to the union and action will be paused for the duration that fares are free for passengers. We don’t know if the government will take this opportunity as we know that the NSW Government will do everything in their power to stop commuters receiving free fares.
Nevertheless, we must be prepared to take these actions in full with as much unity and force as possible.
We will keep members updated throughout the month.
