Visit the 24 Hour Blitz on Working with Contractors Starts on Friday
Dear Members,
On Friday 4 November there is a 24 hour ban on working with non-Sydney and NSW Trains direct hire employees. This applies to all divisions unless you are specifically advised otherwise.
For this action RTBU members should refuse to work with contractors where they are performing work side by side with members. If there is a contractor present in your workplace performing work that contributes to the work you are performing, then that work is banned.
If you are questioned by management, simply tell them you are an RTBU member taking part in industrial action by not working with contractors.
