As you may be aware the Unions and Metro Trains have been in Enterprise Agreement negotiations for infrastructure workers for an extended period of time.
Unfortunately there was a delay in ratifying your agreement and shows that the Fair Work Commission processes do not adequately take into account the hard earned rights of workers.
We are as frustrated as our members, as this delay has affected numerous enterprise agreements that the RTBU has negotiated across the rail industry.
However, finally today we have been notified that the Enterprise Agreement has been approved. You can access the approved agreement here:

This shows the power of standing together and demanding that Metro Trains negotiate an agreement that makes all of our lives at work better. With infrastructure now complete, it’s time for station, trains, and OCC staff to demand an agreement that is fair and reasonable.
