In a true sign of Union Power, RTBU members lead a dispute against Laing O’Rourke for the non-payment of the Productivity and Site Allowance on the North-Shore Project, which saw all employees on the project back paid to September 2017 with a total cost of approximately $300,000-$400,000 in owed wages.

Our next battle is just around the corner.

Enterprise Agreement negotiations will soon begin at Laing O’Rourke which will cover wages employees working at SRO and HVRO, therefore as a collective force it is time we prepare.

To prepare we must formalise your Log of Claims that will be presented to the company so we can begin negotiations.
