Knock for a better future

More than one thousand activists across Australia will be knocking on doors in key marginal seats in two weeks as part of the Australian Unions’ campaign for a better future.

As transport workers we’ve been hard hit by the Coalition Government at the state level and federally Tony Abbott has been intent on eroding the conditions and rights of workers.

The RTBU is strongly encouraging all members to get involved in the upcoming doorknocking events if you can. The doorknock will take place on the weekend of the 12-13 of September – you can find out where and RSVP here.

This is going to be one of the biggest ever door knocking events in Australia – we’re expecting more than one thousand people to join in – and we hope you will, too.
