ITF Railway Women Workers’ Survey
The International Transport Workers’ Federation has launched a survey for women railway workers across the globe as part of their ITF Railway Global Action efforts. The survey is open to women rail workers in all parts and roles of the rail industry, including both passenger and freight transport as well as urban passenger rail, intercity rail and cross-border rail.
The ITF and the RTBU champion the role women play in the industry. The survey aims to identify in what roles and where women railway workers are employed and under what kinds of contracts, what issues and barriers they are confronted with in the workplace and what changes they would see as being important to make the railways sector more accommodating for them.
The survey responses are completely anonymous, and the survey will take about 15 minutes to complete. Complete the survey by 30th of June and share with all your colleagues.
