International Day of Mourning – 28 April

The International Day of Mourning takes place around the world every year on the 28th of April to remember those who have lost their lives through a workplace incident or occupational disease.

Unions NSW and WorkCover will hold a service in Reflection Park on the day and families are invited to bring cards and flowers to honour their loves ones.

The transport industry here and around the world can be a dangerous one and RTBU members are encouraged to attend.
