Increase in Union Dues

Bulletin 28 – 2016

To:      All RTBU Members – Rail Divisions

Members are advised that the scheduled union fee increase which was due on the 1^st July 2016 for all Rail Division Members was deferred until the first full pay period from 1^st October 2016.

This has occurred due to the Union making a number of updates to the membership system and the need for the Union to conduct a number of Union Delegate elections.

The new rates from the first full pay period from 1^st October 2016 will be as follows:

Rail Full-Time                                            $21.60 per fortnight

Rail/Part-Time/Casual/Apprentice        $15.15 per fortnight
