Incident at Redfern station highlights need to keep workers on our railways

An incident at Redfern station which saw a man’s life saved by quick thinking rail workers highlights exactly why we need to keep workers on our rail network. As RTBU Secretary, Alex Classsens told media, if the workers were not on the station at this moment, there’s no doubt it would have ended in tragedy. The NSW Government’s constant attempts to automate and remove workers will put lives at risk.
