In solidarity with 7-Eleven workers
Each month we look at a campaign worth supporting from across the union movement.
7-Eleven has been in the spotlight recently for exploiting foreign students – forcing them into unpaid training, paying as little as $10 an hour and even asking workers for $50 cash for the chance to get a job in the first place!
As well as being exploited, many 7-Eleven workers are being forced to break the conditions of their visas. But if we are to stop the culture of exploitation we need to make it safe for these workers to come forward with evidence.
You can help the SDA put an end to the exploitation of 7-Eleven workers by sending a message to the Prime Minister.
