‘I’m no hero’, says bus driver who saved passengers from Harbour Bridge blaze
The bus driver that quickly acted to get all his passengers off an STA bus that was a burning inferno in standstill taffic on the Sydney Harbour Bridge, has humbly said “I’m no hero.”
But passengers who made it safely off the bus told Channel 7 News that Thomas Parker’s fast acting work was nothing short of heroic.
In the midst of flames, traffic chaos and potentially toxic smoke, the bus driver’s only concern was keeping his passenger’s safe.
