Gear up in your union apparel tomorrow
Sydney and NSW Trains members, we begin wearing union badges and apparel from 00:01am tomorrow, Thursday March 15.
From tomorrow we encourage you to wear your badges t-shirts, badges, hats and stickers and show management that we are strong and united in our fight for a good agreement.
You still need to wear your PPE uniform and all other safety wear.
Wearing union apparel and badges is protected action. No other industrial action is protected right now.
If you need a new badge, please speak with your local delegate first as there are limited badges left in the office. T-shirts can be purchased in person from the office.
Remember to VOTE!
Meanwhile, as you would know, Sydney & NSW Trains have commenced a postal ballot to determine if the current offer that the NSW Government have put on the table is acceptable to you.
You should’ve received your postal forms in the mail. If you haven’t received them yet, please email SydneytrainsEA2017@transport.nsw.gov.au
We encourage you to vote and send it back as soon as you can. Voting will close on Friday the 23rd of March, which is why it’s so important to send it back straight away so that your vote counts.
