ARTC Proposal to Introduce 12 Hour Shifts for Network Controllers

Members have raised concerns with us in regards to a proposal by ARTC Management to introduce 12 hour shifts for Network Controllers at Broadmeadow.

We have written to ARTC Management seeking a meeting to discuss this proposal and requested them provide any and all information about the proposal to us and we have reminded them that they need to consult with us as required under the enterprise agreement.

We will also request that ARTC make arrangements to allow our Organisers to hold member meetings to discuss and seek feedback on the proposal.

In the meantime if you are approached by a manager for an individual meeting you should respectfully decline (as per our normal advice) and request for a proper rostered meeting so that you will be able to arrange representation.

Members are requested to document their concerns and questions and to forward them to our office.

Members will be advised as soon as ARTC Management has responded with a date and time for a meeting.
