URGENT INFORMATION
The unions have become aware that ARTC management have been requesting members identify themselves if they intend to participate in the upcoming protected industrial action.
Members are not required to provide this information and should not identify themselves or their intentions to ARTC management. ARTC management are fully aware of the combined Union’s intention to implement the protected industrial action through the appropriate and compliant notification process.
The Unions see this action by ARTC management as a form of bullying and intimidation and potentially in breach of the Fair Work Act. The Unions are pursuing senior ARTC management to have this practice immediately ceased.
Members should advise the Union office if managers continue to request that members identify themselves as participating in protected industrial action.
