Actions starting tomorrow 11th November: Ban on transpositions and ban on fleet controllers training new staff

Dear Members,

As part of this period of protected industrial action, a ban on issuing or accepting transpositions begins TOMORROW, 11th of November at 0001hrs and continues until 2359 hrs on 30th of November.

It is important to note that this ban will be paused on the days of the 4GT rolling stock bans on the 21st and 25th of November.

For clarity this means the ban on transpositions runs from:

0001hrs Friday, 11th November until 2359 hrs Sunday, 20th November

0001hrs Tuesday, 22th November until 2359 hrs Thursday, 24th November

0001hrs Saturday, 26th November until 2359 hrs Wednesday, 30th November

An indefinite ban on Fleet Controllers training new staff also begins at 0001hrs tomorrow, 11th of November.

After the NSW Government’s shameful attempts at silencing our members, reneging on conditions that have been fought for and won over current and past negotiations and offering a pitiful wage increase in a cost-of-living crisis, it’s important that we stand strong and united in these actions.
