Sydney Trains Customer Service Attendants – Workplace Delegate Nominations

Workplace Delegates are the key to the strength of the Rail Tram and Bus Union (RTBU). The role of delegate is challenging, varied, and exciting. Delegates are the face of the RTBU who want to become more active in the union because they are passionate about creating a better workplace and improving the lives of their workmates.

As a delegate you will be provided training and support to assist you with your delegate duties. You will also be linked up with other RTBU delegates within other divisions across the Union. 

Delegates are vital to the RTBU winning change because they are the workplace leaders who are the driving force behind keeping members strong and united.

In accordance with Rule 106 of the Rules of the Australian Rail Tram and Bus Industry Union, the RTBU is calling for nominations to fill workplace delegate positions in the following areas:

1. Penrith Customer Area – Sydney Trains – Customer Service Attendants
2. Parramatta Customer Area – Sydney Trains – Customer Service Attendants
3. Liverpool Customer Area – Sydney Trains – Customer Service Attendants
4. Campbelltown Customer Area – Sydney Trains – Customer Service Attendants
5. Strathfield Customer Area – Sydney Trains – Customer Service Attendants
6. Revesby Customer Area – Sydney Trains – Customer Service Attendants
7. Epping Customer Area – Sydney Trains – Customer Service Attendants
8. Hornsby Customer Area – Sydney Trains – Customer Service Attendants
9. Chatswood Customer Area – Sydney Trains – Customer Service Attendants
10. Bankstown Customer Area – Sydney Trains – Customer Service Attendants
11. Redfern Customer Area – Sydney Trains – Customer Service Attendants
12. Wynyard Customer Area – Sydney Trains – Customer Service Attendants
13. Town Hall Customer Area – Sydney Trains – Customer Service Attendants
14. 2 x Central Customer Area – Sydney Trains – Customer Service Attendants
15. Hurstville Customer Area – Sydney Trains – Customer Service Attendants
16. Sutherland Customer Area – Sydney Trains – Customer Service Attendants
17. Bondi Junction Customer Area – Sydney Trains – Customer Service Attendants

The Customer Areas set out above include the stations set out in Annexure A attached. If any of the above positions receive 2 or more nominations, a local election will be held to determine the delegate.
