Central Coast: Change the rules launch
On the 31st of July, Unions NSW will launch their Change the Rules campaign in the Central Coast. Read the information below, or click the link here to RSVP.
At a time when profits are booming, and the country is prosperous, working people on the Coast and across the nation are struggling like never before.
Locally, we see young people languishing on unemployment benefits as the youth unemployment rate hits 20%, the daily grind of clogged roads as we get to and from work in Sydney and Newcastle, trains that are packed to the brim, hospital wait times and school class rooms stretched to the limit and an NBN that works for half the coast and not the other…
It’s time us Coasties demand better!
it’s time we demand change!
You are invited to join with other local union members from Gosford, Kariong, Woy Woy, Umina, Ettalong, Erina, Springfield, Terrigal, Green Point, Kincumber, Narara, Niagara Park and every other suburb located in the federal seat of Robertson, as we launch the Change The Rules Campaign!
Our special guest speakers will include local workers sharing their stories as well as inspiring union leaders, Sally McManus (ACTU Secretary) & Mark Morey (Unions NSW Secretary).
We deserve better than what Lucy Wicks and The Liberals have put on the table for our community.
It’s time to join the campaign to Change the Rules now!
