Win for Sydney Trains members: 4 X 193km protection secured!

Your Locomotive Division Representatives recently met with Sydney Trains management to re-enforce the long standing condition of employment which limits the number of mileage shifts a Driver can perform each fortnight.

In spite of continued efforts from management to circumvent this protection, members – through solidarity and collective will – forced Sydney Trains into acknowledging and adhering to this hard-fought and fatigue-mitigating condition.

The Loco Division would like to congratulate members for their continued hard work and unity in the face of managerial schemes which can be seen as nothing more than an attempt to water down our industrial protections.
