Bulletin 21 – Tax deductions for union dues

In accordance with past practice, Union dues are tax deductible.

RTBU dues for the financial year commencing 1st July 2015 – 30th June 2016 are as follows:

FULL-TIME: $546.00

PART TIME: $383.50

For Members who pay via payroll deductions, please check your group certificates and claim the amount shown.

If you require taxation advice regarding individual claims etc, please contact your tax agent or local taxation office.

The above applies to all Rail, Tram and Bus Union Members, except the BUS & LOCOMOTIVE Divisions.
